- Rev. Dr. J.B. Howard, Sr. is a third generation steel worker. Born amidst the red haze and dust of the steel mills in Gary, Indiana, he enjoyed writing as a child. A product of the Gary Public Schools he later joined the United States Navy and medically retired after Operation Desert Storm. He is an ordained Pentecostal minister and retired college instructor. He has been a minister for 28 years. He has a bachelors in Adult Education, a masters in Biblical Studies and an earned doctorate in Christian Education. He currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona
